What is Roundtable? Roundtable is an advisory program at Poland Regional High School, where you will spend a half hour every day with the same group of students (and teacher) for four years. Roundtable is more than just an advisory; it is a class that teaches you how to prepare for life beyond high school, it is family, it is home at school.
Part of roundtable is social-- a chance for you to be a part of a small, tight-knit community within the school, but much of Roundtable is academic-- a place for you to build life skills and demonstrate that you are meeting standards that reach beyond the regular classroom.
You must pass Roundtable to graduate from PRHS. In RT, you will have mandatory assignments that you must complete in order to pass. Often these assignments will be completed in class, and you will have plenty of guidance from your RT teacher, should you choose to accept it!
Roundtable Essential Questions Over the course of the next four years, you will be doing work and participating in activities that help you answer the following essential questions: Who am I? Where am I going? How will I get there? How am I doing? Who are we? Where are we going? How will we get there? How are we doing?
